Exporting, Exporting… and More Exporting

November 11, 2010

We thought we would share our latest equipment to be exported to Sweden.

Volvo 641The Volvo 641 is a very old, but in wonderful condition, 4 wheel drive loading shovel based on a Swedish agricultural tractor and has gone back to a good home in Sweden after spending about 35yrs in this country!

We also sold another A25c to the same customer.

hook loader

The hook loader has already been dispatched to Sweden to a dealer who has good demand for these machines. The hook loader’s first stop in Sweden will be the paint shop!

Workshop in Action: Caterpillar 980G Repair

August 25, 2010

This week we are attending to some faults on a Caterpillar 980G loading shovel.  The hitch bearings are badly worn and we have to ‘line-bore’ the trunion plates to accept our manufactured weld-in bushes.  When this is finished the replaceable bushes and bearings can be fitted.  All-in-all a time-consuming and expensive repair, this could have been avoided with a more diligent maintainance regime.
